The Ice Co° is Europe’s leading manufacturer of ice and the No1 selling ice brand in the UK with products such as Super Cubes and Party Ice. They supply this ice to the biggest retailers inEurope, as well as supplying independent retailers across the UK.
The Ice Co° wanted to transition from Access Dimensions as their finance function was running on excel spreadsheets that were exported from Access Dimensions was proving too labor intensive to run day to day operations, let alone the ambitious growth plans the company had.
The Ice Co° wanted to overcome the challenges of getting improved insight and real-time management information from their new system.
Another objective was to integrate the new system with their other key systems including Access Dimensions, Mandata, Factory Master, Chess and Freeway to have a seamless integrated and self serve process for their customers.
Finally, the new system needed to be able to future proof and support the business in their ambitious growth plans, as well as embracing cloud technologies in their ordering process.
The Ice Co°, through Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud, were able to reduce their manual effort in supplying their product to their independent retailers, that equated to 2 x Full Time Employees, by allowing them to order the product online via the self serve portal.
Through the utilisation of Codeless Platforms, integrated with Sales Cloud and Communities, The Ice Co° were able to centralise their customer and order data for improved reporting and insights.
