We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Following a sustained period of growth, we want to add smart, driven individuals who understand complex SaaS sales cycles and have demonstrable experience in winning new business.

To be successful in this role you should have a consultative, customer-centric approach, a sales process disrupter and a proven record of sales negotiation and closing. The ideal candidate will have excelled in a start-up or scale-up environment.

An understanding of cloud technologies is essential for this role, and previous experience of selling solutions within the cloud space would be advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve/ exceed sales quota through proactive, successful development and management of prospect and customer relationships
  • Build a strategy that reflects, and delivers, consistent quarterly achievement across the entire account base
  • Have some experience managing complex SaaS sales-cycles, presenting the value of our applications to C suite audiences
  • Drive successful collaboration across all internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
  • Deliver consistent and accurate forecasting and maintain all sales cycle activities within Salesforce in accordance with our sales process and methodology
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our partners, to develop go to markets

 

EXPERIENCE

 REQUIRED

  • Solution software sales experience with a consistent track record of achieving/exceeding quota.
  • Experience self-generating new business and the ability to identify, build relationships, and some experience selling into C-Level Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and high growth business environment
  • Self-driven, high-energy sales with an exceptional business acumen (financial and operational)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong Executive presence and presentation delivery
  • Services domain experience a plus, with an active network of peers and sales prospects

 

DESIRABLE

We don’t need all these things, but they will certainly help.

  • Experience of working with automated marketing tools, preferably Pardot
  • Experience of using Salesforce CRM
  • Previous knowledge of accounting, PSA or CRM software products
