We kicked off the morning with a friendly welcome and a complimentary breakfast and networking opportunity. Breakfast was followed by our much-anticipated demonstration of Sage Intacct for Education where Head of Sage Intacct, Kevin, showcased the tools and features specifically designed to meet the needs of colleges and higher education providers. We highlighted unique system features such as the Collaborate Tool and the Custom Report Writer, which can save organisations thousands in ongoing contract fees for creating bespoke reports.

Exciting Partner Talks

St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust shared why selecting a MAT-specific solution is crucial, particularly one that integrates seamlessly with key tools like IMP Budgeting. Live Demos & Expert Insights

Our partners at Sage shared their vision for the future, focusing on the innovative new AI tools within Sage Intacct. These tools promise to enhance efficiency and transform financial management for educational institutions. Our integrations partner, Datablend, also gave a compelling presentation on the transformative power of integrations and how these can seamlessly sit within Sage Intacct to provide a cohesive and powerful financial management solution.

Live Case Study: Speech and Language UK

We ended the morning with a bang with a dynamic live case study Q&A session study from ION's client, Speech and Language UK. Director of Finance and IT, Sarah Pearson joined us on stage for a Q&A session, sharing her insights into the implementation process with ION and the incredible benefits realised from switching to Sage Intacct for Education. These included a 75% reduction in their annual close time and over a 90% reduction in the processing time for invoicing to local authorities within just one week of implementation.  

Sarah also emphasised the ease of creating bespoke reports with the click of a button, eliminating the cost and lengthy wait times associated with external consultants: "We're in a really great situation whereby very, very quickly we're able to create bespoke reports on a departmental basis for internal use. We have just written a SOFA with a click of a button. The fund accounting and reporting has been amazing and again with the click of a button."
