ION is delighted to announce its partnership with Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust to implement their new financial management system, Sage Intacct for Education.
Based in and around Harrogate and Craven, Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust (YCST) is a Multi-Academy Trust comprised of nine schools with the aim of bringing together a family of schools with shared values and purpose. With ambitious plans to welcome more schools into their growing Trust, YCST required a more modern and robust financial management system that would support their future expansion.
The Trust previously used a combination of MSQuery and Civica R3200 as their financial solution. Faced with the challenge of Civica R3200 becoming unsupported, the YCST sought out a more comprehensive solution that would support their increasing needs as a growing MAT.
Following a thorough review of the market, YCST partnered with ION, a leading provider of cloud-based financial management solutions, to implement Sage Intacct for Education as their new finance solution. Designed purposefully for the unique needs of educational organisations, Sage Intacct for Education will provide the Trust with a comprehensive range of accounting tools including:
• True-Cloud Infrastructure: Sage Intacct’s true-cloud technology will allow the Trust to move from an onsite server to a reliable and secure cloud-based server. This will not only increase flexibility by providing 24/7 remote access to financial data, but will also remove the maintenance costs of onsite servers and the need for manual installations or updates.
• Comprehensive Reporting Suite: With a full and robust reporting suite, Sage Intacct will provide the Trust with prebuilt SOFA and ESFA-ready reports that can be submitted to the DfE directly through Sage Intacct for Education. Additionally, Sage Intacct’s custom report writer and real-time analytics will allow the Trust to build their own up-to-date custom reports, tailored to suit their specific needs and processes.
• Advanced Automation and AI: Equipped with powerful automation and AI driven tools, Sage Intacct for Education will allow YCST to automate manual processes in order to eliminate time-consuming manual data entry, streamline workflows and boost efficiency across the growing Trust.
This strategic move will support Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust ambitious plans for expansion while also streamlining and future-proofing operations to provide long-term value for years to come.
