LETTA Trust is a dynamic Multi-Academy Trust comprising 4 primary schools dedicated to fostering collaboration and shared learning. Previously using Sage 200 as their finance solution, the Trust sought to switch to a MAT-specific system that would align with their goals for expansion.
Previous System Challenges
With their legacy software Sage 200, LETTA faced significant operational challenges. The need to log in and out of separate databases for each school created inefficiencies, with reports requiring manual consolidation across schools. Producing these reports was time-consuming and prone to error, as nominal lists had to be downloaded individually. Additionally, the Trust’s purchase-to-pay (P2P) workflow relied heavily on paper-based requisitions, creating delays and limiting visibility into spending. Without a cloud-based, fully integrated system, the Trust was unable to achieve the streamlined, real-time financial oversight needed to support its growth and evolving governance structure.
