Nexus Multi Academy Trust

Nexus Multi Academy Trust is an educational organisation based in Rotherham, dedicated to providing quality education to students across multiple academies with a strong focus on diversity and efficacy. As part of their commitment to enhancing financial operations, Nexus Academy Trust sought a comprehensive accounting solution to replace their outdated manual processes.

Nexus Multi Academy Trust faced numerous challenges with their existing accounting system, which hindered their financial transparency and productivity. The manual processes were time-consuming, prone to errors, and lacked real-time insights. The trust needed an efficient and scalable financial accounting software solution to streamline their financial workflows and improve decision-making.

ION partnered with the Trust to implement Sage Intacct for Education, a true-cloud accounting software specifically designed to meet the unique needs of educational institutions.

The implementation process commenced with an in-depth analysis of Nexus’ requirements to ensure a tailored solution. ION worked closely with the trust to configure and customise Sage Intacct to align with their specific accounting workflows and reporting needs. Additionally, the solution seamlessly integrated with existing systems, facilitating data accuracy and efficiency.

The implementation of Sage Intacct for Education has enabled Nexus Academy Trust to achieve significant improvements in their financial management:

  1. Automated and Streamlined Processes: Nexus now benefits from automated and streamlined financial processes, reducing manual efforts and mitigating the risk of errors. Time-consuming tasks, including accounts     payable, budgeting, and reporting, are now efficiently handled within the system.
  2. Real-time Financial Insights: With Sage Intacct's robust reporting and analytics capabilities, Nexus Multi Academy Trust can access real-time financial data and generate accurate reports. This empowers the     trust's management and finance team with up-to-date insights to make     informed decisions and ensure financial stability.
  3. Enhanced Visibility and Reporting: Sage Intacct for Education has provided Nexus Academy Trust with unparalleled visibility into their financial performance across all academies. The software's comprehensive reporting features allow the trust to monitor and analyse financial data easily, enabling them to optimise resource allocation and drive     operational efficiency.
