What is the role?
ION is looking to recruit and enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our sales team as a Technical Sales Consultant to help our sales team to deliver the best in class cloud accounting solutions to our clients.
The role is a client facing and involves spending time with our customers to help them to find the best fit product & technology for their business. The day-to-day activity of the Technical Sales Consultant is to help our clients make informed decisions by taking them through product demonstrations and consulting with them to determine their needs and define solutions.
This individual will work to support the efforts of our Business Development Executives to win new business, but also they will liaise with our Technical Delivery Team to help determine and deliver the final solution to the customer as such this position is an important part of transitioning a customer from sales into delivery.
- 12 months+ of customer service experience in B2B technical sales in the accounting software industry.
- Experience of working with finance professionals.
- Good knowledge of accounting and accounting terms.
- The ability to identify customer requirements.
- The ability to confidently demonstrate product solutions.
- A professional attitude to work.
- Good organisational skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
