Driving ION’s ambition to become a world leader in Financial Transformation, we are looking for an energetic and talented Sales Manager to lead our Newcastle-based sales team. You will be focused primarily on our market-leading cloud-accounting implementation and support services. You will also be required to boost the rapidly growing Salesforce CRM team.Your key objective is to scale the overall performance of the sales team. This should include increasing sales contracts, measure performance and build the value of the team, define and iterate sales process whilst aligning with marketing.From a sales delivery approach, you will take overall responsibility for lead generation and qualification, enable continuous pipeline progression and ensure the business closes sales contracts.
You should have a proven background of solution-based sales to mid-market enterprise businesses, preferably with experience of accounting or business systems.
Most importantly the candidate should have a strong interest in continuous development of their skillset.
