We are currently looking to expand our digital marketing operation and are seeking the expertise of an experienced digital marketing manager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.  Following a record year, a head count growth of over 50% and a Sales increase of over 300%, now is an incredibly exciting time to join the Ion family at this critical stage in our journey.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead our highly focussed marketing team in a demanding and rewarding fast-paced environment. Working in conjunction with our Sales team, you will have a strategic mindset and will be responsible for owning the Customer Enquiry journey. You will be well versed in the impeccable implementation of marketing campaigns to maximise lead generation, leveraging insights from our automated Sales funnel to drive business development opportunities. You will have strong people management experience and be comfortable nurturing the skills and development of a junior team.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Execute a detailed digital marketing strategy for the business which reflects the goals of the organisation
  • Meticulously monitor the implementation and success of multiple concurrent digital marketing campaigns and tweak as required
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be experienced in evaluation of spend and budgeting on a monthly basis
  • Analyse campaign reports on a regular basis and take data-driven action
  • Track all KPI’s including open rates, conversion rates, ROI and work proactively to improve them
  • Collect partner and customer feedback on a periodical basis and refine the approach accordingly
  • Lead the design, copywriting, creative briefing and approval of all email communications
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry; maintaining an awareness of email marketing trends, best practices, technologies and ensure compliance with anti-SPAM regulation and GDPR etc.
  • Day to day management and curation of development pathways for junior team

Essential skills/experience:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Previous experience in a B2B marketing role, preferably in a service based structure
  • Strong technical, analytical marketing skills
  • Able to coordinate across many teams and perform in fast-moving start-up environment.
  • Strong people management skills
  • Experience with Pardot or similar automation tool
  • Photoshop Experience
  • Canva Experience


  • Preferable knowledge of the affiliate marketing industry would be desirable but not essential.
  • Experience or working knowledge of the following markets; Pharma, Utilities, Education, SaaS
  • Relevant degree (specialism in business, marketing, statistics).
